Review: Clarisonic PLUS

by - January 08, 2015

Hello, Beautiful!

My first post on this blog will be about the Clarisonic.
I will not talk about the product itself as I am sure you can easily find reviews in English on youtube.
However, I will talk about my first impression of the Clarisonic I own.

If you have any questions, feel free to leave them in the comments or on Instagram.

The Clarisonic I own is the PLUS which has the body option.

When I got it, what came in the box along with the device were:
Charging stand
Body brush
Face brush - for sensitive skin
Body wash - 60 ml
3 face washes - each for a different skin type - 30 ml each
First, I will talk about the body option then the face.
To be honest, I was not impressed with the body option.
Yes, its nice to have when taking a relaxing bath but cleaning wise, I don't think it does anything. So if you are thinking of getting a Clarisonic but don't want it for your body, save some money and buy the Mia or Aria instead.

As for the face option, I loved it!
At first, it made my skin really dry and my face skin started to peel almost everywhere.
I was scared it would remain like that but I kept using it as I read about that before.
Then I noticed I started to get less small spots/pimples on my forehead and cheeks.
This might also be because I ran out of most of my skin care products right when I got the Clarisonic so I started using different product on my face along with it.
But now I have a huge spot on my face!
What Im trying to say is, your skin problems won't all disappear once you start using it but it sure will help in cleaning.
I once had a full face of makeup for a party. I removed my makeup using cleansing water and cleansing oil then used the Clarisonic with my face wash and I was shocked by the amount of makeup that came off on the brush!
I feel like I need to have a disclaimer here as skin care is an important topic.
This is just my experience. What happened to me doesn't necessarily have to happen to you. =)
If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Thanks for reading.
